Nick Capaldi

Nick Capaldi is a prominent UK singer/songwriter known for his hit debut single ‘In My Shoes,’ which quickly climbed to No.1 on the Amazon Hot New Release list and stayed in the Top 20 Best Selling New Releases for five weeks. He gained recognition with support from Radio 2’s Bob Harris, and one of his tracks from the debut EP was featured on the MOJO ‘Songs In The Key of Paul McCartney’ album, solidifying his status as a rising star in the UK music scene. In the 2000s, Capaldi’s band EmphaSiS achieved success by winning Wessex FM’s Battle of the Bands and Weymouth Pavilion’s Best Local Band award. They played numerous shows locally and in London, garnering attention until they disbanded in 2010. After a brief hiatus, Nick collaborated with musicians and released ‘The Golden Summer’ EP. Notably, producer Chris Kimsey and drummer Brad Pemberton were impressed with his work, leading to recording sessions and subsequent releases. Over the years, Nick self-produced and released albums like ‘Neon Heart’ in 2017 and ‘Tatty Hally and the Lost Magic’ in 2020, showcasing his versatility as a musician. In 2020, he recorded new songs at Abbey Road Studio 2, resulting in the EP ‘More Life Than You Can Shake A Stick At’ released in February 2021 on 10″ Gold Vinyl. Nick has been actively performing at festivals and local venues, hinting at a promising year ahead in 2021.
